Liz's Wedding Shower

Liz's sister, Jean, and I have been collaborating on this shower invite and I can't wait for her to see it. The piece is double sided with a hand-drawn map on the back (my fav part!). When two invites are set side-by-side the roses match up to create one

Call me if you also are the best MOH and want to gift beautiful and custom made shower invites to your friend/sister!

Jan & Ben Save the Date

Jan and Ben are getting married at the fabulous Roosevelt Hotel! Going with the theme of the wallpaper and other interior decor Jan wanted to use an art deco design, specifically some wallpaper, for the wedding suite. The image on the front is a photo of the hotel from the 30's. More to come!

My inspiration from the gorg hotel:

Hello Robertson!

I have made a new creative friend, Elly from Hello Robertson. Started by Elly with her roommate and friend, Hannah, the New York based interior designing duo also started a fabulous hair piece collection. After exchanging emails, Elly and I decided to make a craft trade: one of their gorg pieces for some personally designed stationery for HR. I just received my headband (that was recently feature don the TODAY SHOW!) this afternoon and almost missed my post office deadline to send some product out as I swooned over my "Kiden" headband! We are still working on the designs, but I will share when the are printed.

Thank you so much, Hello Robertson!!

Chanell & Anthony Program

Remember Chanell & Anthony's wedding suite? Well we just finished up the program booklet! It is four pages with a fun cover, an inside spread with the wedding participants, special thanks, and order of services, and a back with instructions and map from the ceremony to the reception. In true Chanell fashion she had everything planned out for the program and made putting this together a breeze. Their special thanks was touching. Congrats, C&A!

Michelle & Rob Save the Date

Michelle is one of my dearest friends and she is now marrying the man of her dreams! We grew up across the street from one another in Bloomington, Minnesota singing to Pocahontas, making up our own rules to Monopoly, and taking swim lessons together with our brothers.

The idea behind this piece was this email from Michelle, "Rob and I thought it might be nice to have graphics that are fairly marriage oriented, almost like a "sermon in pictures." I think we would both like for the invites to carry a message about the meaning/significance of marriage in a subtle way. " One of my favorite details from the piece is the ballerina and tuba. Michelle is a dancer for the Arizona Ballet company and Rob is a tuba player and music teacher at a local Phoenix school.

The rest of the suite to come!

Three Sisters Ink

I just found my new obsession. Three Sisters Ink was founded by three sisters (no, it's not just a cool name. it's a fact!) who have all explored creative jobs individually as painters and illustrators and have also collaborated to create these amazing patterns. You can get your own here.

Michelle & Patrick

This is one of my fav suites EVER. And so many good stories to share: Michelle choose a beautiful charcoal envelope. After she received them she was notified by her mother that it's bad luck to send out dark envelopes in the Chinese community... so her mom went out and got some RED envelopes! I love it. The design of these pieces seemed to evolve on their own but it just so happens that Michelle decided to walk down the isle to "Here Comes the Sun." It couldn't be more perfect.
