One Happy Customer!

Thanks to everyone who came out to fair this Saturday! It was lovely to meet you all and see what other people are passionate about in paper, printing, and stationery. I handmade envelopes at my booth that went with a piece of stationery and a label. More photos to come at the end of the week... but this one is my favorite.

Hello Robertson!

Kelly from the darling Hello Robertson hair accessory company and I traded goods across the US (her in NYC and I in LA) and I recently returned my half of the trade. I made these two-sided tags for the lovely ladies at Hello Robertson when they ship off packages to clients... one of which includes Gossip Girl! Headband mania! I also created mini thank you cards the size of business cards that slip into a pretty purple envelope. So fun! Let me know if you want to trade goods :) Check out the headband she made me (which was featured on The Today Show and Daily Candy) here.

Wednesday Meetings with Shannon Leith

Meet Shannon, my faithful Wednesday Meetings partner. Sometimes our meetings on Saturdays, sometimes on Tuesdays, but they are still called the Wednesday Meeting. I couldn't be any luckier to know her. I look forward to the brainstorming sessions and idea sharing that occurs as she sits in her cute pink house and I sit in my studio in my bathing suit, sweating out this steamy summer.

Basically Shannon is a creative genius, exploding with talent and great ideas. Her work is unlike any other out there. It shows you the moments that you forget are there until you view her work. Every image bursts with life. If you are looking for some portraits or have a wedding coming up and you want the photos to be really boring and stereotypical... don't call her. If you want them to rock... call her.

I could barely narrow down my selections, but here is some of her work. And check out her sweet new blog. Do it. Beautiful identity work on the blog by Miss Ruthi Auda.

Lauren & Ty's Weddng Photos

Lauren and Ty were married in beautiful Sedona, Arizona this June and I had the privilege of creating a seating chart that was a world map and table "cities" for the reception. The different tables were named after cities they have been to together. World travelers! It was such a great personalized touch to the wedding. Loved the project and Lauren was such a joy to work with.

The gorgeous photos are by David Blakeman of Blakeman Photography. His blog is pretty sweeeeet. Check it out here.

Michelle & Rob's Suite

Michelle is one of my dearest friends and she is marrying Rob in October! Seems hard to believe... We grew up across the street from one another in Bloomington, Minnesota singing to Pocahontas, making up our own rules to Monopoly, and taking swim lessons together with our brothers.

The idea behind this suite was this email from Michelle, "Rob and I thought it might be nice to have graphics that are fairly marriage oriented, almost like a "sermon in pictures." I think we would both like for the invites to carry a message about the meaning/significance of marriage in a subtle way. " One of my favorite details from the piece is the ballerina and tuba. Michelle is a dancer for the Arizona Ballet company and Rob is a tuba player and music teacher at a local Phoenix school. I love love love how crazy and busy the map is. It's an explosion of all of the illustrations used to create the main heart motif. The suite was digitally printed on 110 lb cream paper.
